Wondering what the wedding photography process is like with me? Here are the 9 steps most couples go through when they decide to work with me throughout their engagement and wedding planning!

STEP ONE: PRE-BOOKING CHATS

Before booking, couples will either request more information over email or to schedule a video or voice call. These are our "pre-booking chats". We're both figuring out if we're a good fit! Sometimes couples can tell from perusing my website if I'm the photographer for them, and sometimes they want that full-on discussion time. Either option is great and this is where our work together begins!

STEP two: BOOKING

To book, you, your partner and me all sign a contract and you will submit a non-refundable deposit. This deposit goes to your total balance. Once we have all signed the contract and the deposit is paid, your date is booked and reserved just for you!

I never book anything else on a wedding day- so believe me, your date is safe!

STEP three: engagement session

All my wedding packages include a complimentary engagement session. You may choose a session length between 30 minutes and 2 hours. I recommend booking your engagement session at least 2 months before you ideally want your photos taken. So for example, you want colorful fall leaves in your photos, which means your session should be the last week of October or early November. You should be reaching out to me in August for your session! This gives us the most flexibility and scheduling options for your session.

I sometimes will have couples schedule their engagement session right after booking their wedding. This is also a great option to make sure it's all set in place!

STEP four: engagement gallery delivery

I edit and deliver your full engagement gallery within 4-6 weeks of your session. This is delivered via email link. You also get a print release, unlimited downloads, access to professional printers. Your engagement gallery is available online for 3 months- but as long as you download your gallery, you have it forever!

STEP five: wedding questionnaire

All during your wedding planning process I am available for emails and phone calls to answer any potential questions that pop up! But 2 months before your wedding date, I'll send you a big questionnaire! This asks all sorts of nitty-gritty questions ranging from your vendors, family formals list, to your photo priorities! You fill it out at your leisure and once you're done, we schedule a Google Meet call to chat details!

STEP six: virtual meeting

After you complete your questionnaire and we have your Google Meet scheduled, we have our big wedding chat! This typically takes 30 minutes to an hour. It's the opportunity for us to get on the same page before your wedding day. My goal is to be your bestie throughout the day- not the annoying lady following you around asking questions! This meeting is where we plan and prep as best we can to have a calm, stress-free day!

STEP seven: you get married!!!

It's your wedding day! ENJOY IT!!!

STEP eight: 50/50 tease

Within 50 hours of your wedding exit, I'll post 50 photos to my Facebook Page. It's a way for you to see and share some highlights from your day. Your 50/50 Tease is a sneak peek to what your full gallery has to offer!

STEP nine: wedding gallery delivery

I edit and deliver your full wedding gallery within 6-8 weeks from your wedding date. Just like your engagement gallery, this is delivered via email link. You also get a print release, unlimited downloads, access to professional printers. Your wedding gallery is available online for 3 months- but as long as you download your gallery, you have it forever!

*bonus* STEP ten: wedding album

If you purchased a wedding album at booking, or decide after your wedding day or after gallery deliver that you would like a wedding album, we start chats to design your legacy album. I'll share more about legacy albums and the process for creating and receiving in a future blog post!
