How long does it take to get our photos back?
How many photos do we get?
We don’t really know how to pose... is that okay?
Should we pick a 30 minute session or a two hour session?
Can we bring our dog along for some photos?
Do we get a 50/50 Tease for the engagement session?
I guarantee your photo gallery will be delivered to your email within 6 weeks of your engagement session.
I average about 100 photos an hour during engagement shoots. So for a thirty minute shoot, you can expect about 50 photos in your final gallery; and for a two hour shoot, you can expect about 200 photos in your final gallery.
I never set a minimum or maximum for photos in your final gallery. You get ALL the good photos! The only photos I do not include in your gallery are photos that fit one of the “Three B’s”: blinking, blurry or just bad!
I have ZERO expectations for you or our partner to know how to pose yourselves! On the contrary, I expect my couples to feel a little nervous and potentially awkward heading into their engagement session! This is NORMAL. This is also why I’m a big fan of two hour engagement sessions- there is literally no pressure to rush! And we can take our time to get to know each other better. Also it helps you to feel super comfy and confident in front of the camera. I’ll even have couples suggesting poses at the end of their 2 hours- you’ll be impressed how you two become pros at this!
I suggest 30 minutes to people who are interested in just one location, one outfit, already feel comfy in front of the camera and view the engagement session as more of a necessity for photos to use while wedding planning.
I recommend 2 hours for couples who are interested in multiple locations, two+ outfits, want time to warm up and feel more comfy in front of the camera and are interested in a more peaceful and fun engagement session experience. 2 hours also means more variety and more photos in your final gallery.
Absolutely!! I only make one big rule for this: bring a friend or family member to help with your pup! Chances are you don’t want your dog in all your photos. When it’s just you, your boo and me it becomes very unlikely and nearly impossible to get photos of just the two of you!
You may know that couples who book my Kristyn Romell Photography Wedding Experience will receive a 50/50 Tease (50 photos posted to my Facebook page 50 hours after the reception exit) for their wedding day. A 50/50 Tease is not included in engagement sessions. However, I tend to post a few sneak peeks to my Instagram and Facebook pages while editing your photos!
